Political Correctness

Politeness is treating others with respect and courtesy of your own volition.
Political correctness is being forced by a shame culture to treat people how the world thinks they should be treated.
It isn't polite if it's forced. It's disingenuous, and dishonest. It's the same difference between being charitable, and being taxed.
